Overview

Energy Peace Partners identifies high-impact projects in the world's most climate vulnerable, conflict affected, and energy poor areas. These new renewable energy projects are then qualified and verified for Peace Renewable Energy Credit (P-REC) eligibility. P-RECs are issued under the I-REC Standard, which provides the dominant tracking system for international EACs, known as I-RECs. P-RECs represent 1 MWh of renewable energy, as well as the additional label from Energy Peace Partners certifying the social co-benefits.
